In the film IN MY ROOM Hans is a self-obsessed man who suddenly finds everyone else in the world has literally disappeared. He searches in vain to find someone else and to understand what happened to the world. The idea has been used before in THE WORLD, THE FLESH AND THE DEVIL and THE QUIET EARTH.
