       1. The "Tin Lizzies" will be discussing the Oz books  by  L.  Frank
       Baum  (and  others).   If  your knowledge consists entirely of ruby
       slippers and "Follow the yellow brick road," then you may be in for
       a  surprise.  Even if you know that "you can't win, you can't break
       even, and you can't get out of the game," you don't know the books.

       (For those who are now totally confused, the first reference is  to
       the  1939  Judy Garland movie THE WIZARD OF OZ and the second is to
       the 1978 Diana Ross movie THE WIZ.  There is also the  1986  RETURN
       TO  OZ  and several silent versions.) [-ecl] 2. Attached is the new
       release form that the Bell Labs Clubs requires all members of clubs
       to sign.  I suppose it's possible for a Science Fiction Club member

       to be injured during a book swap by having a box of books  fall  on
       her/him,  or during a particularly heated argument about the merits
       of Cyberpunk versus New Wave  science  fiction,  so  tear  off  the
       second sheet, fill in as indicated, fold, staple, and return to the
